"I started Running Half Marathons when I turned 47 doing about two per year. I trained myself by going to the gym 4 times a week, running or walking on the treadmill, or doing very little weight training. I realized that I never even thought of stretching and injury prevention. I thought I was doing enough. Wrong!!
My goal was to run a full Marathon when I turned 50. So I did! I completed my first Marathon in Disney; January of 2014. ME TRAINING MYSELF WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA!!
My next goal was to run the Boston Marathon In 2014, I got a number!
My story with Dayne began when a good friend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday to train with her running coach at Anytime Fitness in Easton.I started training with Dayne in February 2014. He not only prepared me for the Boston Marathon, but he has taught me how important it is to practice injury prevention by having proper form/technique. He helped me improve core strength and really challenge me. Preventing injuries is important!
We also spent a lot of time analyzing my running technique. Dayne used a high speed camera to capture my running in slow motion. He helped me change my running form completely for the better.
By doing all this I took 35 minutes off my marathon time in Boston. This experience has changed me forever. I give all the credit to my preparation with Dayne. I felt strong after finishing the Boston Marathon! What a difference!
I have never felt stronger. Not to mention how different my body has changed for the better since meeting Dayne. I continue to drive to Easton from Waltham every week to train with the best trainer around!!! I recommend Dayne as your personal trainer!! Working out is fun again!"
